Summary of the 5/2007 newsletter

The evolutionen newsletter is only available in German. You will find here brief summaries of the current contents. Please consult the newsletter archive for older summaries.

The central theme of the newsletter in 2007 is change. This fifth newsletter of 2007 contains the following articles: an interview with Iris Seuthe, who is bolstering the coaching team at evolutionen and will mainly be employed at our Bonn office, an article reminding everyone whose first (and last?) time management seminar was some time ago of the Eisenhower principle and, finally, an article concerning a very special change: we at evolutionen are founding a Leadership Academy and look forward to receiving your assistance.

The focal points of interest in detail:
 
  • People: interview with Iris Seuthe, evolutionen.
    Team management profiles, organizational constellations and a smile.

  • Coaching instruments: the Eisenhower Principle.
    One of the first time management and self-management instruments.

  • Academy foundation: from management to leadership.
    A request for active networking on your part – we need your recommendations!

  1. Iris Seuthe has been under contract as a coach at evolutionen since last summer. This qualified psychologist (applied psychology) and psychomotor therapist is very familiar with complex organizations. Hitherto, she had focused on the pharmaceuticals and chemicals industry; her speciality: challenging and demanding topics. She is also a constellation specialist and, obviously, will be present at our next organizational constellations on 29 February and 13 June. The following redounds to the benefit of our team at evolutionen: her laughter, her vast experience and her resilience. We extend a cordial welcome to her!
     
  2. Do you recall the Eisenhower principle? Or, to put it another way: do you really separate the urgent from the important? If you do, this tool offers you no help. However, if distinguishing between urgent and important matters continually leaves you in a dilemma this overview will serve as a useful aid.
     
  3. It is intended that the evolutionen Leadership Academy should be launched next year. In this connection, as far as we are concerned, leadership is the concept of management expanded to encompass awareness, in other words, per se, post-heroic. We wish to discuss this issue with anyone interested in becoming involved in founding such an academy in Bonn on 6 December. In other words, you will be most welcome!
