Farewell to Bonn!
On December 11 the time will have arrived: evolutionen will be taking its leave from Bonn and the Rhineland. Seven intensive, robust years lie behind us – seven years replete with challenges, manifold change processes and high levels of commitment. We are moving to Berlin, lured by the energy of change and the pioneer spirit which the capital radiates.
Here in Bonn it is now time to bid our farewells, vacate our premises and sever our links. And to proffer our thanks: in the first instance, to you, our clients, the friends of evolutionen. How marvellous that you have accompanied, encouraged and backed us! Sincere thanks are also due to Babette Hofmann and Angela Kaven. It was and is quite fantastic to enjoy such support.
Our tents are being re-pitched on December 12, from which time onwards you will find evolutionen at Friedrichstrasse 133 in Central Berlin. Maria Brüning, who will be in charge of the fortunes of the Berlin office, will be manning the telephone at that address from Monday, December 15.
There will be some changes in 2009. Today’s newsletter marks the first step: it is brief and out of keeping with our normal standards. And there is more: it contains some questions regarding your wishes for our newsletters to you from Berlin. I am truly looking forward to your responses, to all our horizons new and, obviously, to you all!

William Sheldon and the yearning for orientation.
In this newsletter: in lieu of instruments and post-heroic management some observations from William Sheldon, whose concept of “body types“ did not become as relevant to medicine and psychology as his, if anything, programmatic and sociological deliberations. Now, as the year is drawing to a close, I wish to quote the following lines from him on the occasion of our relocation:
Deeper and more fundamental than sexuality
Deeper than the yearning for power
Deeper than the clamour for possessions
Is a universal yearning in human nature
The yearning for orientation…
For the right direction.

Google Analytics brought it to light: approximately two hundred coaches regularly subscribe to this newsletter, meaning that they are in the majority vis-à-vis the just under 150 clients to whom its contents are actually intended to appeal. The demand for the coaching instruments is extremely high; as interesting as this fact is, it nevertheless also gives us plenty of food for thought.
In conjunction with our relocation to Berlin and the advent of the year 2009 we wish to take stock and initiate some changes, in which regard some feedback from you would point us in the right direction. Please simply respond to this newsletter via the e-mail program’s
