NEWSLETTER

8/2006 newsletter from 6th of December, 2006

We wish our readers of the English summary good times, a fitting start to the new year and all the best for 2007. And most of all: stay healthy!

  • People: the 2006 interviews.
Clients, colleagues and guests – those were the subjects

  • Coaching instruments: successful goal establishment...
Brief instructions for home use and management

  • Document for reflexion: respectful self-association.
Personal responsibility, or: love it, leave it, change it

  1. In 2006 both guests and colleagues were at our disposal for interviews; the subjects which were addressed encompassed both coaching and post-heroic management. The individual viewpoint of the interview partner, their experiences and personal experience were invariably the issue. We extend our thanks to you for your frankness and clear sentiments: * First, our guests: Ralf Dürrwang, Head of Executive Development at Deutsche Post AG, in newsletter 1 Guido Bolten, Managing Director of kabeleins, Munich, in newsletter 4, Olaf Braun, Production Manager at Bertelsmann Direct Group, Gütersloh, in newsletter 2, * our guest and colleague Thomas Schleiken from profil – sustained management development, the last newsletter, and * our colleagues Eva E. Mahler-Behr, Sabine Ludwig and Cornelia Papsch.

  2. Both in the business sector and in private life: the end of a year frequently involves new, sound, energetic goals. The German newsletter contains details of how one establishes goals, what needs affording consideration in this regard and what transforms a sound goal into a vision. Quality and quantity, and also the feasibility of goals are addressed here. The controllability of goal factors should not be underestimated – otherwise successful goal attainment will never materialize!

  3. Respectful self-association was originally an impulse text for workshops and team coaching sessions. The text makes it clear that everyone is responsible for their universe of actions and that it is also necessary to possess accurate knowledge of this universe. What form does self-association take if it is intended to be respectful? The elements “emotional respect“ for oneself and others, and also clear delimitation, play a central role in this regard. Not forgetting: per se, we always have a choice, namely, to opt for loving it, changing it or leaving it.
